My hubby and I bought (much to the dismay of our 17y/o car-less son) a 2002 Sprinter cargo van to use as our SAG wagon for the Alzheimer's X-country Ride.
We have a lot of upgrades to get finished before July! Some upgrades include: new tires, insulating interior, wiring(110v), installing air conditioner, beds, and overhead storage for all our junk. The van will seat two and carry all the necessary gear for riders. Hoping to get some simple appliances installed (ex, induction cook-top/ travel fridge)
Plan on getting some corporate sponsors to help finance the trip, then all donations can go directly to the National Alzheimer's Association. Will be selling ad space on Sprinter as well as advertising our website for donations.
Hoping to get some local publicity along the way to get the website out there and get those donations rolling in!
